I mean the bad habit of disscussing in the spoiler thread and not in the chapter thread. In 2017/18, the waiting room was immediately abandoned once the chapter dropped. There were actual meaningful chapter discussions and analysis.
So spoiler culture is responsible for reactionaries in the community? Checks out.

Especially the latter.
But it's in bad faith 80% of the time. Just like the gear 5 drama from last week.

Then why are they here? Why is this forum full of people who hate one piece?
Because they are allowed to. It's not against the rules to hate OP.

I think you're a bit of a dumb dumb if you spend your time on a OP forum when you don't even like the source material, and should be elsewhere reading something you actually enjoy. But again, they are allowed to be here just as everyone else.

I think in spite of being dissatisfied with a lot of the things that have happened in the manga, they still love it, but they also hate it at the same time. It's like being married for 30 years ig. They'll talk shit to no end throughout the thing, but once it's gone they'll suffer as much as the rest of us.

Does anyone have suggestions for series to read?
Vagabond: Samurai manga about the historical Miyamoto Musashi. Deep philosophical work about life, or something.

Death Note: Follows a high school boy who discovers a notebook which will kill anyone whose name is written in it. Full of twists and suspense.

One Piece: Manga about a pirate boy with the ability to stretch his limbs like rubber. The art is difficult to get used to, but it's really good once you get into it.

My real recommendation is the Shangri-La Frontier manga. You might have seen the anime that just came out. It's technically an Isekai, but it's really a sort of sports manga about people who just love to play video games. Chill reading experience, very nostalgic.

I'm not forcing anyone to leave but I get the feeling most active users here dislike one piece. And the negativity drives away the actual fans

Oh for sure. The entire forum is driven by sheer negativity and pure agenda gurgle, but in a weird way I think that's half the fun :ihaha:

Like on Orojackson and Arlong Park for example, you can't get away with half the shit we say here and get a warning minimum from their mod teams :risitavirus:

The toxicity
The disingenuous arguments
The off topic conversations

Make for an unique experience every week you couldn't get on OJ, and you can't get on Arlong Park.

My bunny…:pepeke: these are THE two manga for me
I've reread Wagabond at least 5 times

Apparently this week the korean gigachad will make his return with super early spoilers
Nice ai art

Do they play sports in a virtual world or is the video gaming itself the sport?
