So I think the only group remaining that would have some idea is beings like Sukuna. Sorcerers/curses turned in to cursed objects and traversed thousands of years in to the modern age.

I think it has something to do with becoming a cursed object.

Which makes sense cause it's similar to cursed tools.

We saw Nanami's 7:3 technique was ingrained into his sword and Ino is using it now.

So, by becoming a cursed object akin to cursed tools, Sukuna was able to ingrain CT's other than his own on to his body.

That was 15F Sukuna and now he is 10F Sukuna so he maybe can't use it with the same power as before?

Also maybe it take sometime to do it and no one is giving him a break for it?

I read on X that Gege said it is better to not provide explanation so that readers can interpret things in their own way. I think he also mentioned Evangelion, I have not watched it, so cant comment on it (is this anime confusing for people?)

He wants you to keep guessing.

My problen with Sukuna has always been his open ended ability. Gege can take any direction and he has the freedom to do it with FUGA.

Dont think about FUGA or Fire too much, look at it from a bird eye view. Expect Sukuna to do crazy stuff out of the blue.

I've always had the head canon that Fuga means opening a box of sorts. The box containing CTs that aren't actually his. So I think that him using the flames is related to that and also maybe the startup time to use it. He used it against Jogo in a mexican stand off and against Mahoraga while he was also hitting him with 1000 slashes a second. It might just not be that easy to use even for him.
