Good points here. However, expect the WG to get heavily involved with Blackbeard’s arc similar to Xebec.

It'll all be tied together but I think we already know what branch of the World Government is going to be involved in Teach's defeat.

Putting aside Koby v. Kuzan, SWORD already hit Teach once and is the only branch that is likely to take direct action against Teach. IMO, SWORD was introduced so Luffy has "good marine" allies that can replace the Navy once the World Gov. is out of the way.

Kizaru’s lasers barely put down Sentomaru and getting no-diffed by the power of love btw.
