In Madara's defense, he didn't really have kurama in terms of all the hacks Naruto had. He just remote controlled a large ass fox. Plus he got cheapshotted by tricky hashirama. If it weren't for his pride and arrogance Madara wouldn't have let his guard down. Hashirama never really outperformed Madara in a direct clash. But yeah, nevertheless, he lost to him. Yeah, but that's because those spoilers come out later when a lot of random shops in Japan have the magazines and break street date, so any rando can go read and post spoiler.
