On the last page there's a vitals monitor that's flatlining. The message that's about to go out is a failsafe/contingency plan to get some payback on the World Gov after death.

It can be any number of factors, but honestly, it's about time. Vegapunk has overstayed his welcome. I suspect the connection can be interrupted if someone destroys the host body and that apple antenna thing that's connected to Punk Records.

Fingers crossed this speech is the post-TS equivalent level of Whitebeard's. Hope to see Sanji try to protect him as Saturn and the Marines try to intervene.

Nice catch on the monitor
Completely missed it tbh
I hope he really is dead and they don't somehow bring him back to life. Lillith and 1-2 other satellites are enough of a Vegaounk pressence for the future

The worst thing Oda could do is pull off a Kin'emon with Vegapunk.

But I feel like he should be dead just for these 3 reasons.

1. He was severely injured twice, once by Saturn and then again by Kizaru.

2. He changed his mind about escaping, the new mission now is to leave him on the island and for everyone else to escape while also protecting Bonney.

3. And finally in the next chapter, it seems like he's about to give a big speech which I'm assuming it is his final message right after he died.

It will miraculously start beating again or..

Maybe just maybe his consciousness is back in the punk archive.

He's not dead imo.

Fake Death fakeouts are odas bread and butter
He's got 6 other bodies and 3 of them are still alive (discounting York), so its possible one of those 3 survives and has all of his memories at least. Otherwise, I am semi hoping Shaka is still alive somehow and he moves his consciousness to him.

But I would assume Stella is dying this arc, its a good emotional close for that iteration at least

The satelittes are indeed why I can actually see Stella being done here despite all the fake deaths in this series.
He wouldn't be dead in the same sense the other characters would be, I believe that for Oda it's more easy to kill him off.

Yep as long as the remaining satellites survive then Oda most likely has no problem killing off the main Vegapunk.

The main Vegapunk is dead but we still have four other Vegapunks left lol.

While I could be wrong, I still have this feeling that either Atlas or Edison or even both could also still die.

Lilith and York are the only two that I believe will 100% survive at the end.
