General & Others How come Chopper can't turn into a Full Human?

#1
I never understood this, why does his "full human" Mode look like a Hybrid mode? Every other Zoan we have seen so far can transform fully into their fruits animal, Lucci can turn into a Full Leopard, Drake and Page One can turn into their dinosaurs with their hair being the only thing left from their human selves, so how Come Chopper can't transform into a Full Human and Instead into a gorilla like thing which doesn't even make sense since he ate a regular human fruit not a Gorilla fruit, Oda even outright said that if a Human ate the fruit he would reach "Enlightenment" not super strength so where did all those muscles came from?

It doesn't make sense at all

There's no standard for what a human is in One Piece since weird looking individuals like Moriah, Masira, Katakuri, Hannyabal... are all addressed as humans in spite of their monstrous traits. Chopper still looks fairly human considering these examples and how other zoan users do keep traits from their original form while in full beast (Jack, Page One, Kaido...) and viceversa (Sandersonia, Funkfreed). A few fur and a blue nose don't really feel like a hybrid nor like an incomplete human, to be honest.

why does Chopper retain sapience in reindeer form?
Logia and Paramecia are automatic. Zoan may be, but it's not like we see any turtles walking around for Pekomz to talk to in turtle language. If it's not automatic then Chopper manages his sapience, and what advantage would it provide for him to abandon it?

"Plot" means "I can't be bothered." We almost never see a full animal form like Lucci had. It probably takes a good degree of skill and requires relevance... Chopper becoming fully human doesn't really have a point. He's not actually very skilled with his DF, but he has Rumble and that at least makes a fully human form obsolete anyway.

This is probably just a matter of design choices, not skill. Oda used to draw most of his zoans without traits of their human selves (Jabra, Kaku, Lucci, Dalton, Funkfreed, Chaka... have all shown a beast form without any human trait), but seemed to go more diverse in recent designs as I'd say all users from the Beast Pirates retain human characteristics in their animal form.

Jabra had long black hair, Kaku was squared, like them Dalton and Chaka were bipeds, and Funkfreed wasn't human in any way regardless. Even Sengoku, the other Hito Hito, had his own face instead of a Buddha face. They tend to vary but to say Chopper didn't look exactly like a human the way Lucci appeared as a leopard near the end doesn't hold up across pretty much any other Zoan. They aren't usually less strange when compared to their DF animal.

In the CP9 cover story they looked like real animals pretty much, but they also had reason. There's no reason for Chopper to look human.

The only time we saw his human form was in a flashback when he was still very young. We don't know what would happen if he really tried his best to look human. Like in Wano they're trying to blend in, but obviously he's not trying that hard if he's riding around in a rhino tank.

All of those are hybrid forms (arguably including Sengoku). You are mistaking the hybrid (cute Chopper) with the full beast (human Chopper). Regarding your mistaken examples:

1) An unexperienced Kaku first turns into his full beast form and it looks like a common giraffe. He says it himself. The square one is always his hybrid.

2) We only see Jabra's beast form in their cover story and it looks like a common wolf. Any other time he's using his hybrid.

3) Dalton and Chaka both were running on four legs when in beast form.

4) It is irrelevant that Funkfreed wasn't a human to the point. Focus on Sandersonia if you prefer.

5) Jack, Page One, Drake, Orochi, Kaido, Ulti, Queen don't look exactly like the animal of their fruit when transformed into full beast. Same case for Chopper.

What's the difference between Chopper keeping some fur and his nose in human form and Kaido keeping his horns and moustache in dragon form, for example?

The problem is that Their Full Animal form looks like their Animal, While Choppers Human form barely looks human unless if it was a Yeti model
Chopper's full animal form doesn't really retain more traits from his real self than Kaido's dragon or Orochi's snake. I don't see why you think he barely looks human.

I'm not mistaking hybrid with full beast, I'm saying that we don't really see full beast. There's usually not a point to it, so we never really see it. So what I'm saying is that asking about Chopper looking completely human is like asking why we don't see full beast more often instead of a hybrid form like the ones he uses. Even if he can do it, we probably wouldn't see it anyway.

You are mistaking hybrid with beast because you answered to my point about the beast form of those characters lacking traits from their human selves mentioning their hybrid forms. Either that or you didn't understand my point.

Heavy Point is explicitly shown to be Chopper's full beast (in his case, full human) form in chapter 149 along with his base and hybrid forms. We do see full beast, it is confirmed to be such, so the OP question is legit, but as I said Oda has never been consistent with his full beast forms and we have examples of users turning into their animals but retaining traits from their base forms. As I said, just like Kaido keeps his horns and moustache or Orochi his hair and teeth, Chopper keeps some fur and his nose. Simple as that.
