What are the chances that Qin will recruit foreign generals when they start conquering states?

Do you think it will happen? Which enemy characters would you like to see join the HSU in the future? What are the chances Tou has recruited the Juuko strategist they captured? Tou's army had a couple of casualties during coalition so maybe the strategist guy joins to strengthen his army?

They kinda been already doing that. Mou family came from Qi, Shouheikun originates from Chu, Akou seem to be from some small state conquered by Qin etc.

Hara probably doesn't want to introduce too many generals on protagonists side to make it more focused and for the sake of the tention. So I don't think there will be many examples of generals moving to Qin in the future.

I think we will get very few of them and not notable ones but just to see that Qin is trying to rule and include the other states
I already made a thread on Tou recruiting that Strategist guy but wouldn't surprise me if we are fighting Wei and then we see a 10k Zhao army show up led by Rihaku or whatever as backup.

That requires dimensions to the storytelling Hara now rarely engages with, and never even close to that depth.

I don't think there will be Great Generals joining because that would shake things up too much, but some lower tier generals becoming subs of Qin characters is definitely possible IMO.

I think some low-level generals switching sides is definitely possible.
Agreed. Would love to see someone like Kisui (though maybe he's too strong for this) or Rihaku joining Shin down the line. A defensive specialist would certainly prove useful and provide new options for the HSU.

I hope so.

Tou Army has taken two highly capable generals in Rin Bou and Dou Kin.

I’m annoyed he hasn’t added any martial types to it but Ju Ko’Ou would be a great addition.
Maybe, him will see Man'U in the future, as him ask if him could see Man'U in the future against Mou But.

Some acquisitions I think should/should've happened:

After the failed Gi'an Campaign, I wanted Kan Ki to make sure Rin Gyoku would escape and that he happened to end up with the Gaku Ka Army.

Mou Ten should have joined the Ou Sen Army after the Gi'an Campaign to become stronger.

After Sou'Ou inevitably dies, I think Shi Ryou should join the Gyoku Hou Army.

After Kan Ou has died and Tou retired with Ryuu Koku following as his aid, I think it will finally be time for Roku O Mi to embrace a new leader in Shin as a member of the the Hi Shin Unit, and the only one to have served Ou Ki.

I think Maron will join HSU when Shin becomes a GG.

Jukou would be by far the best Qin 6 subordinate of the current gen if he joined Tou.

I hope Sanshuu the immortal is somehow alive and joins either Ouhon or Shin.

A mountain leader should join one of the trio, it would be interesting if one of them chose to join Mouten/Ouhon instead of Shin

Hara loves Rokuomi so I think he'll join Shin eventually

Damn, you casually raising Den Ri Mi's death flag.

If Heki joins the HSU, which I think is possible after this arc, then Shin will get some mountain soldiers that way.

They're a good pair, and he'd be a great second option to Kyou Kai. More importantly, someone Shin could trust to hold have his back by holding the line at his flank.

My ideal formation for the HSU has Ka Ryo Ten on the vanguard, Shin in the centre, and Kyou Kai on one of the wings.

Right now, I can think of only two candidates that could fill that spot: Heki or Roku O Mi.

If Hara intends for Heki to remain on his own path to becoming a "regular" GG, then I can see ROM fit. The HSU would be incredibly tough to deal with.

I don't see Heki ever becoming Shin's subordinate

Though I do expect him to be a deputy general under Shin for a campaign (s).

I see him being like Choutou. A solid dependable general capable of leading large amounts of men, mostly notable for his loyalty to the King.

Rokuomi joining the Hi Shin Unit as the "third" nicely parallels the Ouki army

I also think Denrimi is safe for this war. If he was going to die, I think Hara would have had Shibashou kill him earlier. Though he'll probably die eventually
