Powerlevel-wise, Katakuri is special even among the Charlotte siblings. This is mainly due to his hax, Future-Sight.

Now, King is portrayed the same way. Shanks wanted to recruit Marco, Big Mom wanted to recruit King who is from special race. I suppose this is also mainly related to hype of strength.

So what do you think would be King's hax that mainly causes him to become worthy as Kaidou's highest order of Calamity?

- is it large reserve of CoA? Hardass CoA? Advanced CoA? black blade CoA?

- is it something to do with flying? Aerial attacks? Being untouchable due to extreme agility?

- Is it something to do with fire? What do you think that fire behind his head is about anyway?

So for me, he might use fire as his main weapon (or an additional weapon). So, when he transform to his Pteranodon form, i think he will using kicks like Marco did. Or i might say he will use his kicks when it comes to Aerial fight.
When he fight in land, he might infused his blade with flame/fire.

When Katakuri portrayed to had advance observation haki which is a Future Sight, i think King might had an advanced armament haki.

I think Oda just use that reference for their power.

We still need to find out what is Fukurokuju power. He might had ancient zoan DF too.
And yes, that would be dope if we got Mythical Zoan Model Sun Wukong for Kong. lol

I honestly have doubts about King being a swordsman tbh...Theres been multiple cases of characters carrying a sword, who dont actually use it in a fight. Its also weird that kings swordsmanship hasnt been mentioned when were this far into the arc if he really is a swordsman. Plus the flying devil fruit is quite odd for a swordsman, Theres are definitely a lot of signs that Kings not a swordsman..... I just think people dont want to believe it tbh.

King's hax

This may be a bit of a stretch, but I've got this crazy theory that he can fly.

If we zoom in on this manga panel we can observe that he appears to be in the air without his feet touching the ground. How is this possible? Well, from what I've gathered he's somehow obtaining thrust by flapping his wings which is seemingly giving him some sort of momentary flight capabilities. From my extensive research, birds may also occasionally use gravity itself to provide forward thrust as well; which explains how he's magically moving forward without the use of his feet. I think King may have a second devil fruit.

Now before you say I'm jumping the gun, let's look at some rather empirical evidence.

As we can see here, Blackbeard's jolly roger has three skulls, one for each of his Devil Fruits; the Yami Yami no Mi, Gura Gura no Mi, and the Inu Inu no Mi, Model: Cerberus. And as we can see in the image above, King's overcoat displays two skulls. Coincidence? I think not.

So assuming this theory is correct and he happens to have two Devil Fruits, the first being the Batto Batto no Mi, what could the second one be? Let's look back at some of the known context clues:
• He can move through the use of some unseen force
• He's producing heat energy
• He's in the sky
It's very likely he has some sort of awakened sun devil fruit.

If my theories are correct here's what I imagine King's match-up at the end of Wano could possibly look like.
