Toji really doesn’t have much going for him besides beating the weakest disaster when they were nerfed and catching teen Gojo with no RCT, 2/3s of his abilities, and domain offguard. He was also flat out compared to 3 finger Sukuna by Megumi.

After Maki put up a worse performance than freaking Jogo against an even weaker Sukuna I have no idea why anyone would have either of the HR duo that high.

Except Toji-lite didn't excite Sukuna because she's stronger than them, so this isn't really helping you elevate her, and by extension Toji, beyond any of them. Sukuna called Yuta his main dish despite Maki's involvement. You gotta keep that in the record before talking about how excited Sukuna was to fight Maki.

Already said this to ZenZu twice and he said he didn’t care btw.

Maki getting trashed by a Sukuna that is MUCH weaker than the one that had half his output against Yuta and Yuji downscales the HR duo if anything.

Sukuna called him the main dish while grading them in accordance with their strength, which is when he ranked him over Maki, and then Maki became the main dish due to the nature of her abilities, not because she's stronger, so that's not helping your case either way.

This actually helps my case even more, he changed his mind from main dish to appetizer after having fought Yuta.

He downgraded him to appetizer and Maki turned out to be the real main dish, we can sit here and nitpick the reasoning behind it but there has to be a threshold of strength required to excite Sukuna. This doesn't guarantee Maki stronger but it's def solid portrayal.

Gege was giving Maki her flowers it's obvious.

Yeah i really think even if the physical capabilities is the same, Toji is actually decently stronger than Maki.

the gap is not as big, but its like comparing previous 6 eyes + limitless user to gojo just cause they are basically same.

toji would defeat Maki in a head on fight.

You don't have to do any nitpicking. They spelled the reason why he's excited to fight her in this very chapter, and it isn't her power level. You're trying to turn this into something that it's not in hopes of elevating Toji further, and it's not happening.

Maki went from fodder to top tier instantly, she is a stain on Toji if anything. If Gege really favoured Toji that much he wouldn't let her reach his level so fast.

Maki is strong badass female bait for simps.

That's not true btw. Like I said she has to pass a strength threshold to excite Sukuna. She genuinely gave him so much of a thrill he used black flash.

You can try and separate strength from this as much as you want but it's not happening.

Bro...Maki went from absolute fodder to top tier in the blink of an eye.

For all the Toji glazing you're talking about, Maki became Toji's equal in no time.

Like if Gege was being real he wouldn't let Maki equal Toji, atleast not yet. The Maki glaze goes too hard though.

And despite all this glazing Toji got one shot by a baby Hollow Purple when even freaking Uraume tanked the 200% version (this was straight up confirmed by Gege in the volume questions btw).
