I know Oda said he doesn't want OP to be too serious which is why he adds comedy, but there has to be a limit. Luffy is straight up clowning people yet Oda still tries to make the situation seem dire somehow.
People keep saying how Nika being overly funny is a return to OP's roots, but this doesn't feel like OP roots at all. It's like if Luffy spent the Arlong arc whacking Arlong with a magic mallet until he turns into a pancake and then laughing when he saw the room Nami spent her life as a slave in.
At the rate they're going, Zolis and the Tiktok leaker will supply enough salt to keep our meals seasoned for decades to come. LOda still blowin it tho
