If you want to believe that Zoro "played" with Lucci for 1h just for the fun, while his whole crew was in danger and they needed to hurry up, go on, I won't stop you.

Secondly, all we saw was that smoke in 1 panel - but in every other scene we were shown 2 sword, CoA Zoro clashing with Awakened Lucci. And how does that imply CoC, which Oda shows with Black Lightning for every single character?

This is like saying Luffy used CoC offpanel against Kizaru and not just during White Star Gun. But that take will be met with a lot of opposition but Zoro alone somehow spammed CoC offpanel against Lucci, amirite?

Even if this forum has differing opinions about how he does things, Oda writes for the audience to cheer the heroes and hate the villains. For the Scabbards to not being able to slightly hurt Kaido after all he did to Wano is not his style, nor will it ever be.

The fight was unfinished, however the outcome isn't debatable anymore... not after how hard Lucci got clowned on last chapter tbh.
But let me throw in a different perspective... just think about it.

Had Jinbe not stopped Zoro there and Lucci was fully knocked out... who's gonna tell Mars about the Seraphim and the Satellites? Imo, that is why Oda had Jinbe stop the fight and take Zoro away, so that Lucci can stay up to give that info to Mars.

Make no mistake though, that panel where Lucci has 3 lines on his body... that tells everything about Zoro. Especially when Lucci was looking like this, post fighting Nika.

All the damage he did is for nothing since Lucci didn't even think he lost nor did he think he was outclassed

Kizaru never tried to fight Luffy. His only goal was killing Vegapunk. And he did it. Goofy failed to both protect Vegapunk and taking down Kizaru.

If you're saying Zoro didn't defeat Lucci, then how did Nika defeat him? Oda even wrote Stussy taking Lucci out like 10 minutes later as Cipher Pol invaded the Labophase.

I never said Zoro is stronger than Nika, the point is Zoro is far more lethal.
