Well, he is on the right path since he already started to understand the problem with Israel and the US for the Palestinians.
This can open the door for more "woke" leftists reasonning:
- Understanding why the left is supporting palestinian while liberals and the right are supporting Israel's actions and far right gov.
- Understanding the reason why the left is foundamentally anti-colonialist in its core (which could lead the way toward things like questionning the oppressive nature of the occidental imperialism over the world..
- Understanding that there are sociological fact about oppressions in society like Patriarchy, systemic racism, which can be seen all over the world
- Understanding that all those oppression are a symptom of the ideologies and myth behind capitalism which can lead to the end of the belief in liberalism and the end in the belief of meritocracy
- Understanding that absence and impossibility of meritocracy can be sociologically explained by our capitals and the relationship of domination in society
- Understanding the importance of questionning the liberal structures of power to fight the oppression linked to capitalism
- Understanding the importance of intersectionnality between struggles
- Understanding that feminism and anti-capitalism struggles are linked
- Understanding that enabling the system by playing with the power only serves the power and thus understanding the importance of the radicalization of the fights.
- Understanding that the depolitization of the public spaces only serves capitalism and thus understanding that we must repoliticize society in everycorner.
- Understanding that there is no politic without conflict.
- Becoming a woke, maybe even more radical than I am...
And all he needs to do... is do some research and be openminded.
I know that you think you should not respect me. But if you truly understood the reason behind my beliefs, you would instantly come to my side. Sadly its not easy to convince people of the right side of the political spectrum.
