Either Vegapunk's transmission gets interrupted at some point or the information is not as world shattering as people think it is. For the simple reason that Laugh Tale exists, learning the truth of the world in Egghead would take away from the significance of Laugh Tale and that is not going to happen(a major reason why BB becoming FV is very unlikely).
