It would be nice to see someone with a divorced dad aesthetic leading a band every now and then.
Someone more relatable than your the literal super models who dominate the industry
Surely tho there are some indie Korean artists that don’t exactly fit the beauty standard?

Thats because beauty and appearance are 80% requirements for the industry (ppl would even argued it's 99% the most important)
If you're build like a fat, bald and mid age looking coomers, you're never gonna be Kpop artist no matter you miraculously have talent in dancing and singing.
Maybe you got a chance in being a solo singer and writer/producer etc. But you need to be extremely talented and one of the special breed 0.1% of the human kind to attract audience
