It’s interesting thinking back to cases like Nami and Robin. They were both with Luffy for a little bit of time before they tried leaving Luffy’s company and then troublesome circumstances forced them back together.

So maybe Yamato would fall under similar circumstances, in that Yamato would need help again before she could help them out against the World Government.
