So, when Shanks lost his arm, his other arm became much stronger, due to the Haki that was diverging into his lost arm, now Converging into his remaining arm. So, it's twice as strong. That's why Mihawk gave up fighting Shanks, his one handed sword swings are too powerful for Mihawk to block.
Once Shanks loses his other arm, all that Haki will Converge into his legs, making it so Shanks can finally fight evenly with Shiryu, the man powerful enough to dissuade Shanks from attempting to rescue Ace.
Shanks will lose both his legs fighting Shiryu, and then, limbless, decapitate Blackbeard with his CoCk Diverging and Converging at the same time. Shanks says "Divine Departure" and then helicopter penises up into the sky.
