I was thinking it was playing on a loud speaker all over the prison but if he really does have a TV maybe being a former celestial gives him a bit of special treatment
Literally the Thalmor will actually leave Skyrim if the Stormcloaks win the civil war lol. They could only maintain a hold over Skyrim via Imperial influence. Hence why the Thalmor outwardly support the Empire winning the war.
Stormcloaks winning is their plan. That's why they literally let go of their prisoner Ulfric...
Ulfric who is literally called "Thalmor Asset" in the Thalmor Dossier.
If Stormcloaks and Empire fight and Empire loses, both sides lose a lot of soldiers and manpower.
Sure the stormcloaks winning will result in a TEMPERORY retreat of the Thalmor.
But do you really think they're gonna just leave Skyrim alone?
Especially when one of the Towers, the snow Tower, that's so important to the Thalmor and their plans of world annihilation is in Skyrim?
The Empire wont be there to support and protect Skyrim. They'd just get fucked by the rejuvenated Thalmor army.
Which was exactly their plan all along.
Release Ulfric. Let him raise a rebellion by outlawing Talos worship. Watch as the Empire, the only force in Tamriel that can at least match the Aldmeri forces, is weakened by in fighting from idiotic nords. Make the Empire leave Skyrim and Make the nords fend for themselves. Swoop in and defeat the depleted Nords easily.
Also Hammerfell is independent and the Thalmor can’t do shit to Hammerfell lol. Hammerfell and and Independent Skyrim would ally in a mutual desire to not be controlled by the Thalmor.
Hammerfell is literally supported by the empire lol.
Even Still.
Sure it's not open support. But descrete support is still support.
And Ulfric is a fucking Nord. they aren't very keen on alliances and shit with other races lol.
If Ulfric had at least a little brain, he'd have waited until the Thalmor was defeated to start his little rebellion.
The Thalmor defeated the Empire when it was at full power. When it had the full might of Cyrrodil, Skyrim, Hammerfell and other provinces.
So even if Ulfric somehow allies with the Redguard, how the fuck do you think they will even hold a candle against the full force of the enemy that kicked the WHOLE empire's ass?
Also, the Dragonborn is so powerful that whatever the Dragonborn wants to happen will happen. If the Dragonborn tells the Thalmor to bend over and get fucked, they will ask how hard or die lol.
I could just as simply make this damn argument for the Empire too. If Dragonborn joins the empire's side, he can destroy the Thalmor just as easily. Better yet, even easier cause he'd have the superior and larger army of Cyrrodil at his command.
But we don't know how Bethesda will integrate the Dragonborn into the timeline, if they do at all. And what decisions from that will be affected in the future games.
All in all, the stormcloak rebellion just comes out to a stupid stunt based on pride, with no foresight into the coming great war at all. All orchestrated by the Thalmor themselves by using a captured prisoner and manipulating him to weaken their enemy from within.
And all arguments for the Stomrcloak's chances of defending Skyrim boils down to wishfull thinking like "somehow, Skyrim's depleted Nord forces alone are gonna defeat the whole Thalmor army" or "The redgaurd and Nords alone will defeat the enemy the whole entire empire couldn't beat"
Which is idiotic to say the least.
Without the Empire, the Thalmor will achieve everything they wanted easily.
Technically, outside of Sky islands and Fishman Island, Impel Down is the safest place to be in the event of a World Wide flood. The place is already submerged underwater after all.
No. Oda already pretty much confirmed "D" does not stand for a word that begins with the letter D, or even a word at all, but more so a symbol. When asked about it he said "you can read it as" D" for now. ". It is not the will of Daedalus.
