Well we usually get along and usually pair well when we’re both town with me shielding him with a town read often (I’ve consistently found him town and done so in the past when for other people he’s usually more PoE fodder/null) and I had an early town read on him for his entrance.

So if he’s scum I think it’s easier to ride that wave than rock the boat with me. Also, if I’m the only person in the game who’s given him a town read probably better for me to be credible and ride under my wing than to cast doubt on me when it comes to his own position

No, the Prof read being that high is sheeping.
Also, largely not as for actual meta; but I do have some experience with them to the point where I think I'm comfy with leaning them town without anything else

Reasoning for me being wolf exists from nobody pushing me ftr
It mostly just relegates to "vibes", I think Ratchet is the only one with a developed half decent reason and even then it's false given it largely falls down towards, to my knowledge; me choosing to mason a good player D1
