It's just common sense. Imu has the "king among kings" type of trope by having the 5 conquerors who happen to be the highest authority kneel before him
Even before Saturn transformed it was obvious that the people who actually conquered and rule the whole world would have conqueror's haki, and maybe even the strongest out of anyone.

It's unlikely to be that simple, since as per Jaya, the "lost city" being underwater is what everyone assumes. More important is that it isn't magnetic like other islands. Even then, the WG has the resources to trawl the grand line for it if they know roughly where it is. I think we will get a clue when we get to Road Star. I think "the end of the grand line" will have something unique about it beyond just leading back to Reverse Mountain. Perhaps some really extreme weather or something.
gorosei obviously know where Laughtale is yet seem unable to access it. That means either it was somehow protect and is in the same location it used to be or it got moved and protected.

Idk if they know where it is, but they probably have an idea of what the One Piece is. But it would be fine even if they could access it; It may be something Imu wants to keep. All that matters is that they keep everyone else away from it, which means they need to track down and deal with the poneglyphs and people who can read them. And they haven't been able to do either yet.

Ever since Kendrick everyone wants throw around joking pedo accusations like it's light banter. This forum was always busted but now I see the word "pedophile" every third message

VP said in this chapter that he doesnt know who was right or not, which means the CDs who are murderers, slave owners and rapists will be on Luffys side when its all set and done.
He says he doesn't know which side of the war was right.
The current CD society has evolved (or devolved) into what it is over 800 years. It most likely no longer reflects the society that started the war in the first place, let alone the ideal they stood for.
VP isn't justifying slavery and genocide. He's saying he doesn't know enough about what brought us to this point in time.
'Cause there is still a good possibility that the CDs' lifestyle is a warped interpretation of Joyboy's "freedom at all costs" motto. Freedom is good, but to this extreme is its opposite. Thus VP can't condemn one but not the other, so he refrains from doing either for the time being.
