Exactly. The whole direction Kidd is going in is that he's a failure and his dream isn't happening. That's not the end of his character, it's the beginning of it. He can become a villain against Luffy because of it, or he can go anarchic on everyone, or he can change his personality and become a different type of character.
But this is y’all’s hope that kids character moves to this role which it genuinely doesn’t have a reason to since Blackbeard already fills it.
