Id like to think that maybe this stuff is important
like last time Demaro Black pretended to be Luffy, he did so to try to amass a big fleet for himself. Perhaps he did the same when he tried to be kid.
Oda could use that to give the real Kid an actual fleet when he comes back.
As for Foxy. It seems like Teach will likely have a grand fleet of his own. We already have Caribou teaming up with Teach, with Caribou being a fanboy just like Bartolommeo.
Perhaps Foxy will also be one of Teach’s commanders. He’d actually be a really big counter to Cavendish. So maybe that’s what Oda will do.
