Hmm so did Kaido killing Orochi on this specific night fulfill Toki's prophecy?
Eitherway Orochi could still get killed(if Kaido didn´t kill him yet), the story about Orochi ending here for sure but not alliance between Kaido and Big mom. It is early to take out the alliance after they annoucement their strategy, probably they even get a antic weapon and we see firsttime the power of the antic weapon. With Orochi getting killed by Kaido or later by the RS, Toki prophecy became true but the defeat about Kaido not. The war will take a second round in whole wano country(Jack in Kuri,Queen Udon and King at Mount Fujiyama), the act 3 end with a tragedy lose for the heroes.

If the new Weapon is significantly stronger than Pacifistas they would be a huge pain in the ass for him and all the Yonkos besides Shanks
why beside Shanks?
tbh we dont know what sort of tech Vegapunk created. so its hard to equate it to pacifista project. it could be nano tech for all we know and WG starts injecting all their highly talented soldiers with it. essentially making a super Soldiers squads:kayneshrug:

More like Hyogoro lol. Nice of Rayleigh to leave 6 months early rather than take the 2 weeks to teach him advanced CoA :gokulaugh:
That 6 months is really blank...wonder what Luffy has been upto in that period....also, do you remember that small flashback before Luffy KKGed Doffy??..where Luffy said that G4 not sufficient and he said something to Rayleigh to which Rayleigh said "that is more tiring than G4"???..wonder what could that be??....

People are crying about Orochi dying saying what a waste of time giving him a backstory while im here thinking.

Holy Shit !!! Kaido just pulled off the biggest betrayal of the entire arc potentially the entire story.

- The kurozumi clan deceived Oden's father then Killed him, Took his place as Shogun by deceiving the daimyo’s, they also planted a double agent in Oden’s crew and had that double agent feeding them all the info they needed in order to keep watch on Oden So that they could kill him later.

- While all this was happening we thought Kaido was protecting Orochi so that no one could harm him and take over Wano, when in reality Kaido was just using Orochi in order to take Wano for himself and he was just biding his time until the moment was right so that he could start the biggest war in history.

Kaido basically made Orochi do all the dirty work then killed him and reaped all the rewards. Crazy !!!

it felt like she kinda implied she cant removed it when she was surprised Luffy doing it. if she knows penetration haki, we would hope she knows what it does at least. breaking things from the inside is the basic Shtick of it. would be weird if she never tried breaking the cuff with an ability that is known for destroying things from inside, dont u think?
also Oda could later come out and say she also knows Penetration haki. with how coherent and consistence this arc has been so far, i would say there is a high chance later she gets revealed as Penetration user
or she could be revealed as someone who doesnt know how to control her strength and always go 120% power? you know, it's not like she was trained by a kind sensei with a lot of pedagogy if she just learned by watching her dad... so maybe for her trying to do anything to the handcuffs would automatically mean self inflicting damage from which she cant recover? lets wait and see how Oda handles that part

The thing is, Yamato is a bit different. Luffy's will was his from the start. It happened by chance that his will was similar if not the same as Roger's.

Yamato, yes, she was inspired by Oden but she apparently emulated Oden almost obsessively. It's quite unnatural compared to the usual "inherited will" that Oda portrays. His retainers carry Oden's will but never did they ever try to emulate his mannerisms, etc. Neither did Luffy with Roger. That's because though they are different personality-wise, they still carried his will without having to bend their character to fit Oden's wishes.

I think this could be a chance for Oden to look into the psychology of Yamato. She has to realize her own self rather than trying to be Oden. So in a sense, she isn't her true self yet until she takes off the facade of Oden.
What i said last chspter rings very true now. This facade is quite demented it seems.
