Dragon and Akainu backstory have the potential to be fhe greatest backstory ever told

They're the same age, they likely joined the marines together, maybe where even rivals and best friends

But at some point they both learned the truth and the friendship fractured

Dragon left knowing the truth and wanting to do what he could to topple the world

Akainu thinks the current world is better than whatever chaos may follow if the gorosei are taken out of power

Two conflicting ideals, two men once friends, now destined to kill each other

Akainu and Kizaru's characters may be saved after all, thank fuck :parkcry:
Imo the Admirals overall are some of the best written characters in the series their ideals, motivations, personalities, how they're jobs have constantly been shown to clash with their sense of justice, their sense of right and wrong they have a lot of depth to them

Yeah, that's why I'm afraid Oda will ruin their potential, and make them end up just being loyal government planks of wood.

Seems like that's not where we're headed though.

This chapter wasn't even half as bad as everyone made it out to be.

So in the next chapter we will get Grandpas vs Big Robot -- it would be interesting if it turned out that one of them would be annihilated by this robot - it would clearly show that the technology of past centuries comes from another galaxy.

Unfortunately majority of the people here believe a chapter without high flying but kicking action is a bad chapter

So seems like York was the one who stole part of the "mother flame" and gave it to Imu/WG in which they used on Lulusia kingdom which was Uranus

Congrats to those who guessed the final den den mushi was gonna be with the Ancient Robot

Rayleigh out here getting drunk and getting pissed at Vega punk for dishing out spoilers lol

Roger and Rayleigh knowing about the war and not doing about it is probably because Roger was already dying at that time and also say him and the Roger pirates were too early

So far yeah I think the only admiral that might be loyal to a fault is Akainu because of the whole Dog thing but if written well fierce loyalty can still be great character

Greenbull~ I wouldn't say I'd 100% loyal to wg but he's an Akainu Simp so long as Akainu is loyal, he'll be loyal
