I raised a possible scenario

I think the big thing is as a reader we want Punk to call out the WG cause we know the truth; but as someone who doesn’t get world info like we do, punk just doesn’t know what to believe.

VP intended on letting people know of the current affairs of the world(the sinking), and what’s causing it. That’s what he intended to do. When he recorded it he didn’t have a clue who did it, so no VP never intended to screw over the WG

The WG benefitting from it makes sense. They’re the villainous group of the story, they should be in a position of comfortable power.
