Due to recent discussion I was asking myself if any other work besides One Piece there is a fandom where a character using a sword isn't immediately called a swordsman?

90% of characters uses swords in Bleach. Pretty sure they're mostly swordsman unless of course the one their swords changes into something else (like gloves WTF bleach?).

In Naruto the few sword users were considered swordsman if I'm not wrong.

In DBZ just the same.

Any fandom similar to the cringe Shanks fandom from One Piece have a character that uses a swords for everything when it comes to fight yet their fans claims he is not a swordsman?

Best example if can give of a guy who uses a sword but isn't a swordsman is future trucks

Other than when he killed freiza with it i don't recall him ever using his sword to kill anyone else or even fight full out
with it

Only time he used his sword at least to my memory to defeat someone would be when he finished of Zamasu but even that wasn't pure swordsman ship he just swung a giant energy blade around

I don't know about the Super cringeness but at Z he was a swordsman. He even fought Goku with that sword. I don't remember why he stopped using a sword but when he was using it he was a swordsman.

Not even DBZ Fans say Trunks is not a Swordsmen when he can literally fire Kame Hame Ha like Blasts. Or what ever Vegeta Move he copied.

Yet One Piece clowns call No Devil Fruit One-Handed Sword Wielding WSS Former Rival Sword on his Jolly Roger called Swordsmen in Data Books, Manga, by Author multiple times, has a flying CoC Slash as his signature attack NOT A SWORDSMAN :milaugh::milaugh::milaugh::milaugh::milaugh::milaugh::milaugh::milaugh::milaugh::milaugh::milaugh::milaugh::milaugh::milaugh::milaugh::milaugh::milaugh::milaugh::milaugh::milaugh::milaugh::milaugh::suresure::suresure::suresure::suresure::suresure::suresure::suresure::suresure::suresure::suresure::suresure::suresure::suresure::suresure::suresure::suresure::suresure::suresure::suresure::suresure::suresure::suresure::suresure:

This collective retardation is unique to the OP fanbase. :saden:

This is a non discussion in other anime/manga. No one cares if Sasuke is a swordsman or not, most don't consider him one cause it's not significant.

Hashiras in Demon Slayer are swordsmen and they're considered so despite using abilities that has nothing to do with cutting techniques
Yes because apparently One Piece copers think that you have to use your sword to cut to qualify as swordsman, otherwise you aren't so ...smh

The sword broke when he tried to help vegeta against android 18.
Yeah because people of DBZ don't know haki. Duhhhh!

DBZ fighters dont use swords because theres not a sword that could endure it in that verse. Even Trunks trowed his into the trash to become a buffman.

People can literaly blow up planets, soo its understandable, even in the OP verse if you dont coat your swords with haki you can do serious damage to them.

You gotta start questioning why zoro himself doesn't believe that a person who uses a sword is a swordsman automatically

Other fandom doesn't have garbage ass writing in their series like "swordsmen" in one piece.
If character is supposed to be strong it's because they did some strong shit. Meanwhile Mihawk did nothing impressive since his biggest feat was fighting rookie Shanks, so all this garbage swordsmen talk is whether Mihawk can leech off of other characters or not.
