There's def no reason for Nusjuro to not recognise it plus this implies Nusjuro does have Shodai as expected from Zoro's reaction too. There's no way Nusjuro of all people doesn't have it and it would fit given last arc just gave us Nidai too ofc.

1. The Swords/Weapons were already working for Oden, Roger, WB. They literally became legendary pirates with them and showed no resistance to them.
2. How does lifting them higher got to do with the Sword is literally bending to their Will already. Enma was bent to Pden Will and couldn't do shit to him. When Zoro first got Sandai that shit was doing random shit like cutting when Zoro didn't want it too

DFs are already working for them and no resistance...
Awakening them doesnt mean they werent carried by them. Same for swords. Once you surpass DF/swords, you carry them to new heights aka Awakening/Black blades.
All those who fail to do it have failed to surpass the original rank/ability of DF/weapon...

Zoro already had a black blade in his bands but since he didn't surpass it, he was carried by it instead of carrying to an even higher rank. Same for all his current swords, he didnt surpass them by carrying them to a higher rank.

If it's Nasjuro, then it's not confirmed that he has Shodai but he has some interest to the kitetsu.
If it's Zoro, then yeah Nasjuro has Shodai.
