This is factual. Pokémon fans love to dive into obscure Pokédex facts and then scream whenever the rest of the game is brought up.
It's gameplay.
Since when do we care about gameplay limits? You can kill the Elden Beast with a naked dude who holds a club. You can redirect Ganondorf's magic ball with a bottle. I'm obviously excluding those things - and Pokemon has lots of sources including the games. I've posted panels of the manga as well.
Meanwhile you have ordinary bullets capable of injuring high tiers or even top tiers in One Piece. These are just anti feats. Roger was killed by random fodders. Whitebeard got stabbed at least 100 times in the navy war.
Stating "Weaker Pokemon can injure Rayquaza or even the God Pokemons" is like saying "random swords killed Roger, so Tanjiro can also kill Roger".
It's both equally stupid.
That's why I don't rely on anti feats. Look at the bigger picture.
Rayquaza is stronger than the Pokemon equivalents of Akainu and Kuzan but unlike them, they actually created the continents.
Deoxys is also far stronger than Kaido and the rest. His asteroid is capable of destroying a planet. And guess what, Rayquaza destroyed that thing. I'm not sure if it was base Rayquaza or his prime mode.
