I am not too optimistic about how Oda will treat and use her again. I very strongly suspect that he will have turn into O-Lin mode for good.

But Luffy needs to save her as the hero of One Piece, and i don't think that would count.. Defense mechanism making her regress in the past instead of forward to the future.. It would be a fake happiness..
