Seriously it hurts seeing people shitting on One Piece as a whole because of post timeskip arcs. Old OnePiece wasn’t perfect either but for me it’s a masterpiece. I can reread/rewatch all the time and it always hit right. I reread Water7/Ennis Lobby often and it just baffles me how every panel has either something funny or intense that forward the plot. Can’t believe it’s done by the same author that is now making 20+ chapters of no progress and nothing interesting happening.

Yes I too can reread/rewatch pre TS One Piece , knowing that I will never get to are the end if this beautiful story because it's going to be ruined step by step

Bonney distorted future ability is the most random bullshit ability, it doesn't even make sense logically and it's not even a DF power.
It will be a huge surprise if this isn't Oda's idea not long ago.

Feel like he just wanna have fun abusing G5 power and if one isn't enough.... how about two ppl using it, let's write some bullshit new ability to give Bonney a power to transform into his childhood hero, readers would love it!

I'd be more accepting of it had Oda introduced Bonney's power much earlier in the story. His writing is so all over the place and full of bs nowadays that I categorize everything that seems out of place such as bonney's fruit as equally stupid as the rest.

Man I've been rewatching early one piece from Youtube reaction channels and my god it makes me want to tear up. What happened to one piece? This used to be a proper show.

First half of WCI was great, second half with "Wedding Cake!" eh not so much.

Although I did still enjoy Luffy vs Katakuri except for the whole Flampe bs.

Second half of wci was the beginning of the end of coherent storytelling. Loda deconstructed the entire arc's setup. Wano made no sense to begin with and egghead is barely a story at all.
