Ifrit Jambe: Hell Memories sounds great. People can meme and try to downplay Sanji for adding to a combined attack, but it's an attack I've been waiting to see since Ifrit Jambe was revealed. Hope it looks stunning.

I hope we see a return of Anti-Manner Kick when Sanji faces a member of the Gorosei in the future. Sanji vs Mars could make for an amazing fight when Sanji's stronger and ready.

Going back to the combo, the idea was the 3 giving it their best shot as far as they could muster at the time then Luffy added to that culmination of attacks. I don't think there's a need to downplay any individual attack. No comparison was made. If Oda wanted to equate Franky's punch and Sanji's flames, he'd say so. Still good hype for all involved.

I think we need to start accepting that the mid/weak trio (besides Usopp) won’t unlock any Haki, as nonsensical as it sounds. You’d think that a Yonko crew that consists of only 10 people would at least have all of its members possess basic Haki, but oh well.

I think that the reason why Oda refuses to give them basic Haki is because he doesn’t know how to incorporate basic CoO into fights, and basic CoA is too boring and unoriginal since it’s really just a flat AP and durability amp. Oda would rather give them more unique power ups

Wouldn't it be even more ridiculous for him to randomly start using haki when we were explicitly told he couldn't out of the time skip?

Rayleigh said that learning just the basics of haki takes time and planned to dedicate two entire years to getting Luffy up to speed (still ended up taking one and a half year despite Luffy's stated talent). Having Franky use it out of nowhere without any kind of buildup that could justify a "haki bloom" would feel extremely cheap.

Not that he even needs it to be an overall good fighter. We've seen pre-timeskip Luffy overpower advanced haki users through his own means (physical strength and DF application). Franky can theoretically do the same through his tech. Radical beam is already a better attack than what a great deal of haki users can pull off.
