Generals above generals vs Akou

Location: where Ousen just got whooped
Each side has 50k

Scenario 1: Akou vs Mouten
Scenario 2: Akou vs Ouhon
Scenario 3: Akou vs Shin

What diff can Akou give to Qin's rising stars?

All 3 defeat A Kou pretty easily by this point.

They were better assets than him before WZI even began. They're much stronger at this point and just far more capable of shaping a battlefield.

Gets mid diff by Ouhon and Mou Ten. High diff by Shin
C'mon dawg, if anything, the HSU is the absolute worst match for A Kou and his army.

I don’t think it’s a given that they were better at the start of WZI.

Chougaryu felt Akou was a level above Ouhon even after seeing the GG moment.

Kanjou said they were the best cavalry on the entire wzi battlefield.

Ouhon/Kanjou said Akou’s troops were the most sturdy on Qin’s side even at Hango, some 3-4 years after WZI.

I agree with the overall conclusion you’ve come to but I wouldn’t go as far.

None of the Zhao had a firm grasp on how good the Q3 were at Shukai.

Characters are especially quick to give out platitudes in Kingdom, but we can judge more accurately on what we're shown versus what we're told.

What we're shown aligns with the Q3 being superior.

this hype of Akou was continuous throughout even by Ouhon who is not one to praise others above himself. I feel as if himself and Kanjou are absolutely objective in saying Akou had better cavalry, more sturdy men and had at least one defense that Ouhon acknowledged he wouldn’t know what to do with. Chougaryu’s assessment may not be concrete, but it has substance behind it when you see the above reasons and then also appreciate Riboku hyping him up as well. In fact, Ousen and Ouhon also claimed Akou could genuinely get to Riboku at Hango, which is yet another layer of hype. Obviously they weren’t aware that Riboku wasn’t even truly targeting Akou.

there’s so much pointing to Akou being above the Ouhon we saw in day one of Shukai Plains. I’d feel it would be more accurate to discuss at which point within the arc, did Ouhon surpass him. Not on day one though. Arguably not day two either going by credible expertise by one of the smarter Generals in the series.

I’m dead against the awful Akou wank that exists in thefanbase, as you know, but we also need to give him his flowers as well.

Cao Cao wins via a combo of decent political machinations and adequate military strength.

Dong Zhou wins throughout his lead general Lu Bu.

I think Liu Bei loses, Shu was too politically sabotaged by its coalition nature. There’s no one vision and I see that being a long term problem, as per canon
Unironically most accurate analysis in this thread
Akou beats Shin & Mouten, probably loses to Ouhon but can go either way

In fairness Shin is still beating Akou 1v1. But yes in battle if Rokuomi is still bodying Shin then Akou certainly is winning against him as well.

Shin and the HSU in an actual battle are just wildcards though. Tough to call.
