Multiple. If they aren't others how did a Wano blacksmith with no interaction with the outside world knows about all the blades reaching new heights and can be turned permanently into black blades?
Just hearsay from Ryuma's achievement? Doesn't make sense to assume so many things just because of one blade from THE god of the blade...

That wano blacksmith is carrying hearsay from the void century till now. Not a good example.

Obviously
U gotta be at a certain level of swordsmanship which is out of Roger’s reach

So it’s practically impossible to make black blades outside of legends like ryuma and mihawk
Yeah i imagine Vista was thinking the same thing when he fought Mihawk.:endthis:

Yes? You never saw a character talking about things they don't have or can't do?
Do you really compare awakening that happens to this day all over the world ,to a secluded blacksmith and a fix that apparently you want their only source to be hearsay about Ryuma ? Do you realise how daft that is?

Kaidou's words exist because there are many awakened users be it in the past or now. Apparently you don't want that about black blades so Shushui is the only one Shukiyaki can talk about.... Make it make sense.

Either it is tried and tested that every blade can become black and change its rank or they base it all on hearsay about the God of the blade. How does it make sense to assume it is possible for every blade just because one person managed that, and especially this one person?

The guy who made it black is the one who said that though.

The only other talk on black blades has come from sukiyaki a swordsmith and shogun of wano who is carrying secrets from void century time

And a fox who traveled with ryumas direct descendant

yes he did
he was actually thrilled that a guy who did something which even roger couldnt was able to recognise him
Roger was specifically known for his Haki. Not swordsmanship. That should tell you rnough about the worth of a black blade consideing nobody else uses it. Not even shanks.

Why would you assume Ryuma said it? And besides if Ryuma said then it must mean it was tested in another blade, otherwise how do you know it wasn't something special about the "personality' of Shushui that made it that way?Ushimaru was a great swordmaster and even him couldn't achieve that feat of black blade. If even a person of that caliber couldn't why would a hearsay be enough without further proof?

And what make you assume that there aren't other black blades in the carrying secrets of Wano? Kozuki made the poneglyphs, maybe they also had people that created indestructible blades and not only stones...

No mihawk said it not ryuma.

Mihawk only ever talks from his own experiences and thoughts.

He told zoro haki coated swords don't break.
This isn't true
Vergo broke smokers jutte
Zoro broke King's sword to pieces.

Because their has been nothing to suggest that.

So the confusion comes from this part of my post?
Either it is tried and tested that every blade can become black
I am only talking about Shukiyaki from a closed off nation talking about Enma reaching a new rank and that is dependent on Zoro.

Not Mihawk and his comment about every blade is able to become black like his.

Crazy lie from Mihawk btw. So many broken things...

Sukiyaki has thousands of years passed down to him as a shogun and was best friends with guys who made other top swords and related to guy who made saijos.
He didn't give any ground breaking stuff just said its not a black blade.

I don't think he thinks he's lying.
I think he's just talking from his own experiences. He's probably never had his haki broken when coating his sword.

Blah blah blah
zoro’s haki was also highlighted against kaido

that doesnt mean his main asset is haki and not swordsmanship
haki is merely a sword skill for swordsmen after all

“ not even shanks “
First u have to prove that shanks can make a blackblade before throwing out another stupid take like him not caring abt making one

it’s always the same argument with u shanks tards
Go Invent some new copium

They are the only two black blades in existence there is a slight chance rocks might be a kokuto welder but aside from him it’s just Ryuma and Mihawk. Both the strongest swordsmen of their era:myman:

In OP's entire history, more than two. Will we see them? probably not. Oda still hasn't clarified how one even turns the sword into a black blade. In the initial Mihawk flashback, it was implied to be related to hardening and CoA. Then comes Wano with the fox mf he adds in the element of Ryuuma having fought a fuck ton in order to turn the blade black. Now we're on some ACoC shit.

Hell tbh we don't even know if Mihawk turned Yoru into a black blade or not.

I'd expect a couple black blades throughout the history. But the world history was basically wiped by the flooding 800 years ago.

So we have 2 Black blades in 800 years. That's okay. If Oda feels like it, he'll have a couple quality blades revealed in the ruins of the AK.
