Why One Piece Battledome and Power Level Discussions are closed to guests?

It’s basically a rowdy dive bar. My kind of place.
I only found OJ after googling Doffy vs Cracker too.
i believe it was an earlier decision, back around September when we were a lot more loosewith what could be said. We decided a section with a lot of cursing happening wouldn’t be the prettiest picture. Now it could probably be changed back.

Anyway, I’m not sure my point came across because I just can’t English anymore today. But not completely hiding Battledome would be beneficial.

On OJ? Yes. So I could see and participate in it. If I remember correctly, back then the arena subsection was visible, but not the threads. Here I made an account for the same reason, plus for the people. And I haven't regretted it one bit.
As I said, I understand the people that have very little, or no interest at all in power scaling, but that has to apply vice-versa as well. People, not necessarily you, have to understand that there are people out there that couldn't give a damn about the story. The most important part for them is how strong this guy or that guy is. I for example wouldn't be here at all if one day I didn't stumble upon forums like that while wondering how strong this guy is, or how a fight between x and y would go. I am willing to bet dozens of others, maybe even hundreds, have the same reason for being on here and forums in general. The Arena can be unappealing and worthless to some, however, to some it is the only section that matters. And it is the most active section on the forum. That's undeniable. Without it the forum would cease to exist.

We gotta lock these people in the Battledome thread then. Or lock them out of Discussion thread.
After arguing against this in Seivas's thread, I can't believe I have to say it, but if some people only care about strength of X or Y, they really do need to be separated from the storyline discussions.

To each their own my dude. I can say I understand both sides. From my perspective neither is wrong. It's just what people prioritize and care about.
I don't post in threads I am not interested in. Be it the arena, manga discussion, anime discussion, other subsections. I have created a plethora of vs threads, but also plenty of threads regarding characters, the art and so on. I think that makes me eligible, to some extent, to understand both sides.
At the end of the day, we are all here to discuss what we care about. No one is coercing me, you, anyone else, to post somewhere we don't want to.
