I want Buggy to find the One Piece before anyone else, and laugh when he does.
Oda is smacking us over the head with a frying pan like Tom and Jerry cartoons trying to make it clear that Shanks is upholding Roger's legacy. Shanks and Rayleigh still are in contact, too; if Shanks doesn't know what the One Piece is, he at least knows what Roger wanted after finding the One Piece.
Buggy has no idea what the fuck went down on Laugh Tale, that's obvious. Buggy discovering what Roger died for is huge for his character IMO, no character needs to reach Laugh Tale more than Buggy (except that silly rubber guy)
Honestly, I'd like it even more if Buggy and Shanks found the One Piece together, and laughed together. Roger's two crewmates who were left behind, seeing what their Captain found, then going back to help Luffy get there himself.
There are two members of Roger's crew who still need to reach Laugh Tale, IMO.

Oda clearly had a concrete design for meme planned from the start. She looks similar to her final design.

There was 8 years between Kaido silhouette and actual Intro.
That is not the case for Pranks AT ALL. The HK silhouette dropped in 1083 which was released on May 15, 2023. Barely a year and we have the face reveal of Pranks.
And it's not like Oda would have had to change his design unlike Kaido. Oda had this twist since at least Revery, probably way longer. And he looks exactly like Shanks. So there wasn't gonna be any changes or mistakes from the silhouette we saw.
