What you are describing is what we call pinkwashing. This is the usage of LGBTQI+ symbology and ideology to give themself the image of progressist and pro LGBTQI+ people.

- Racist
- Ableist

Politician are who are transphobe, racist, xenophobes islamophobic or sexist are not republican. And right now, republican are endorsing a man that is ALL of that.
