What it really ends up them facing off against who they’re facing?

1. Dragon vs imu: dragons whole goal is to take down the celestial dragons
2. Sakazuki vs shunks: maybe Sakazuki decides to defect from the wg and their bullshit so he has to fight a holy knight
   • It’d be cool if the marines are named after the Chinese zodiac and the holy knights the western astrology
3. Sabo vs Kuzan: fire vs ice. Maybe happening while luffy and Blackbeard fight
4. Koby vs Garling: Garling doesn’t have the balls to attack an admiral but maybe Koby. Koby also betraying the wg

Coby is NOT Luffy. Luffy had names like Lucci, Crocodile, Doflamingo, Katakuri under his resume before he ever faced Kaidou.

Coby looked like a fodder next to Hancock, he won't go from that to suddenly Akainu's equal. It's not happening. Luffy is always going to be the sole exception to these things, he was beating Warlords before gears or Haki.

If it happens I'm not gonna deny him being that strong though, I don't question Luffy's strength. It is what it is, I'm just saying it's not going to happen.

No idea why we didn't get major lore from him, would of been way better than what we've gotten from Vegapunk I bet.

I think 2 big possibilities on how the story goes from here:

1. Teach is the villain of Elbaf. Buggy and Shanks ally; Luffy vs Shanks and Zoro vs Mihawk in Lodestar.
2. Burned Man or some other new character is villain of elbaf. Teach is villain of Lodestar. Shanks and CG get hypetooled.

If the latter happens, Teach will probably beat Shanks while Nusjuro and the marines beat CG. Nusjuro beats Mihawk and becomes WSSM. Teach beats Shanks and becomes WSM.

Still I feel like this would shit on two massive characters that Oda heavily respects and has been hyping for over 20 years. So I’m leaning on possibility #1. Teach pulls a dumbass move and invades Elbaf and loses. It’s his god valley.

But I still feel the appeal of #2.

Many thought that Blackbeard will be the main villain at Laugh Tale and that is the place where he will be defeated.

But I could maybe see Oda pulling a twist and have Blackbeard be the main villain at Elbaf instead.

Trust me, I only follow Oda's track record when it comes to this stuff, stop falling for reaction piece. Coby is relevant, everyone in that page is, it begins and ends there. Just as Buggy has his role, Coby has is. Not everyone is going to be at the same level in that page.

Eh idk about the bottom half but the original idea of the story was to focus on Luffy vs the emperors so I do think it’d be fitting if he beats them all

1. Luffy vs kaido in wano
2. Luffy vs big mom in elbaf
3. Luffy vs Blackbeard post elbaf
4. Luffy vs shanks (allied with buggy) as the final emperor

The order not being based on strength but just what I think would be fitting imo

With luffy possibly fighting one of the 3 original admirals between each emperor. Tho not necessarily getting there own arcs
So basically

1. Kaido
2. Kizaru
3. Big mom
4. Aokiji
5. Blackbeard
6. Akainu
7. Shanks

For kuzan it’s his physical strength mostly

Akainu can have a gimmick but I think it’s more adjacent to his lethality which has alrdy been shown

Akainu is actually the first admiral to get fleshed out
