I like Shoubunkun not for his abilities. But he is the most likeable character in Kingdom imo.
Who cares if he is Qin 6 or not? Shoubunkun is more likeable than Ousen, Moubu, Tou etc.

Don't remember Wei war arc, has been years since I'm rereading the series.
Mougou was Kanki and Ousen's general, and Moubu's dad.

Hou Ken would’ve been more interesting as a general that became a Bushin.

Like imagine if his first loss to Ou Ki humiliated him so much, he killed his own family in all consuming rage. Perhaps part of him believed Ou Ki was stronger because the loss of his woman. And perhaps another part would hates himself for desperately clinging to life when Ou Ki came for him and he blamed all those with whom he was bonded.

Whatever the reason. I think it would've been more interesting if Hou Ken was a general and a Bushin, and chose, of his own volition, to go to the battlefield once more for his answer.

It pisses me off, because he should know ball by now.

Even if he isn't an Xs and Os type of general, by know e should still be able to look at a map and know what the fuck is up.

Hara can be so damn frustrating and inconsistent when it comes to Shin.

Shouldn't Gaimou be enough reason why Renpa stands clear of bums like Gyou'Un?
Even Gaimou who obviously stands above someone like Gyou'Un, only called himself an equal to Ouki/Renpa and he was most likely over hyping himself as well.
