I don't think we're ending this arc without Luffy getting a 1 v 1 fight like WCI. Kizaru about to drop in like Katakuri.
There is no point in continuing the story. All the storylines are closed now.

Only left is the good bye to Egg Head, Stussy arriving and the final end of Emeth.

Once it will be done, there will only be the pursuit left (and looking at the state of all the marines on the ground because of Joy Boy's haki ... I don't see how this could be a challenge for our crew and the Giants)

So...Emeth has a pull string imbued with Haki. Like a giant toy with a voice box on a pull string.

A rope...that binds the past to the future.

A "rope that connects all mankind"? A Hito-Tsunagi Treasure!? Could this be connected to the One Piece treasure?!

Okay, so you can imbue knots in rope with Haki for centuries. We're introducing a entirely different magic system into this world, now. And one that might just have a key to the One Piece treasure? Could the One Piece treasure basically be a Gordian Knot imbued with crazy amounts of Haki? For what purpose? And what KIND of Haki? It doesn't necessarily ALL have to be Conquerors. Could a more intricate knot create a more intricate "spell"? Like "weaving" different Haki together to achieve a different effect?

Okay, so this chapter basically deconfirms my theory that Joyboy could have been a Ancient Giant like Oars. He's way too small for that. Still, that doesn't explain the Giant Strawhat in Imu's freezer, though.

I am curious about that building that Joyboy is standing on, though. A square building with a tree growing out of it. Personally, I'm immediately thinking that this could be the original form of Imu's garden. If Joyboy was the "King" of this world at this time, it'd kind of make sense for him to own Mariejois, originally. Which means, Emeth might not have had to climb the Red Line, he'd just have "awakened" where he was buried or hidden right in the middle of his old home.

Although, I wouldn't be surprised if we've already seen that building before, somewhere. I just don't know where.

I'm a little annoyed that Oda completely side-stepped the question about the Gorosei and water, though. Apparently, Saturn was close enough to land that he could just fall back to the shore. I wanted to see what would happen when he hit the water!

Also, Buggy is so good at inspiring people, he even got to me a little. "It's OUR World ain't it?!"

Good stuff. Great chapter.

If this chapter concluded the Egghead, it'll be the sixth longest arc in One Piece.

Wano (149 chapters)
Water 7 / Enies Lobby (119 chapters)
Dressrosa (102 chapters)
Whole Cake Island (78 chapters)
Skypiea (66 chapters)
Egghead (64 chapters)
Alabasta (63 chapters)
Fishman Island (51 chapters)
Thriller Bark (48 chapters)
Punk Hazard (46 chapters)

Yeah but that was science, haki is not science, is "will"
The ability to seal is the science. Those ropes sealed parts of weather in them, they weren't actually producing wind, just releasing it.

Haki can be something that can be output just like air/wind, thus it can also be sealed similar to weather.
Post automatically merged:

Since you can IMBUE haki to objects it should be possible to put all your haki into an object too like Joyboy did.
I think it's only possible to seal with the ancient science. Since it's specifically shown to be a sealing mechanism even when Nami was shown the technique in weatheria.

Ie, something like weapons, household objects and etc won't be able to seal the haki itself, even if Joyboy puts his all into it.. it'd just release the Haki.

While everyone else like Zoro, Jinbe and Elbaf giants watching them fight with popcorn?
Kizaru is gonna get jumped if he tries anything stupid.

Kizaru came for a reason lol. He's gonna throw hands.
The reason is he had history with all of Vegapunk, Bonney and Sentomaru.
While Saturn came to get touched by Devon.
