Do you think he'll ever achieve a non-6 GG position like Mougou, or be stuck eternally at general?

Honestly I think it's difficulty to imagine a scenario where Heki becomes GG considering the current situation, Mougou probably became one after a long career, Heki won't have that much time before unification ends and he runs out of opportunities to advance.

I think he can become a GG like Mougou wherein he's not exceptional at anything but is still plenty experienced, level headed and good at book strategies.

Mougou had much strength in old age and survived facing Renpou many times and could gather the respect of beasts like Kanki and Ousen. So Heki has lot to grow...
The reason I'm optimistic about Heki is, he's already got feats of slaying a mighty warrior like Rozo, even if with help. If more feats of such level are to come, then this growth can't be stopped.

He'll probably become a GG considering he would have been involved in campaigns that achieved something that hasn't happened before, i.e China's unification.

In this case it's quality over quantity.

Probably > Mogou and Choutou as a general. It's fitting for him to surpass these guys from the old gen, just like Shin/Ouhon/Mouten are set up to become better than anyone from that gen. Heki has experienced so much shit already and it's obviously gonna go through more growth, at his peak he's definitely gonna be a Great General, a solid commander.

Memes aside, you guys are tripping if you think Heki will surpass Mougoat.

The thing about Mougou is that he was mediocre only when compared to monsters like 6GG/3GH. On his own he was still a proper great general by feats (brute strength to blow away Renpa, eye for talent, leadership, anti-Renpa fort etc).

Heki is just not that, he will never perform the things Mougou pulled in Sanyou arc or build a GG-level army. The best comparison would be that he's a younger version of Shoubunkun. Someone who will score some decent achievements and after the wars are over move to politics or retire.

Great General.

Heki's talent doesn't begin to approach the Q3, but he is talented. More than that, he has an extremely strong mindset and work ethic. He has the toughness of Chou Tou and the reliability of Mou Gou. The latter of the who was known to never lose to any inferior opponent.

I think it's fair to say we have already seen Heki overcome a superior foe and distinguished himself.

We've seen Heki's leadership on the display many times. He is a born leader of men and a real talent. Even in captivity, he remained a tremendous leader of men. I have no doubt Heki has what it takes to lead and inspire a Great General's army.

To be a great general means being a member of the Qin 6.

There is a reason why Hara killed of the OG Qin GG's before reinstating the system.
Not true.

There has always been a difference between "regular" Great Generals and "special" Great Generals.

Chou Tou and Mou Gou were "regular" Great Generals.

Ko Chou was a Great General and not a Three Great Heaven.

Heki is a talented leader and charismatic in his own right.

I think that'll push him beyond Chou Tou and on par with Mou Gou, who for all his supposed claims of mediocrity, nevertheless put up a valiant effort against Ren Pa.

Heki is built extra tough. He's remarkably resilient and reliable. That'll take him far.

Chou Tou, Mougou and Duke all become GG after the system was discarded and they were all killed off before the system was reinstated.

Anyone in Qin that is good enough to become a GG would be given a spot within the Qin 6.
