Nah Egghead is still a great arc compared to the other post timeskip arcs.

How was it good? Oda off paneled the traitor plot line that he built for 7/8 chapters

He didn’t give us any good Kizaru vs Luffy juice
Zoro vs Lucci was shit
Vegapunk is Oda’s worst character since Oden
The Gorosei were jokes
Like genuinely what part of this arc was good?

Vegapunk gave up on life a bit to easy to be honest, there's no guarantee the WG would catch him if he ran.

Egghead overall was still a great arc but yeah the climax was a mixed bag and the ending seemed kind of mid.

The question is do we count the post egghead chapters as part of the Egghead arc or part of the Elbaf arc?

Last chapter wasn't a proper curtain call of the arc so Oda has to write in the next.
Can't submit just 2, 3 panel and need to add an on the spot - flashback (that he made up in last 20 minutes) to fill rest of the page.

I think people really need to go back and reread the arc to understand Vegapunk's character. He's an intentionally "stupid" character. He went out like a G in my book.

It's a good arc overall with a lot of great beats. Just taking the escape mission route as a climax didn't mesh with the setup at all.

I count in between arc events as separate mini arcs tbh. So we're now in Post-Egghead until we land on Elbaf.
