Not quite, he is under the impression because Dragonball Super from Toei ended around the same time as Toeis wano adoption began and it hat increased focus on auras and higher quality animation and a more battle they are a lot people becoming one piece fans from watching the wano anime and starting to read in wano (also the same with the "skip skypia" meme)

I don't know how true that is but sometimes it fits lol
