So much more could have been done with Kaido's flashback to develop and showcase the creation of his crew and relations with his crewmates, his origins and heritage and ostracisation as an oni, and Xebec's role in his life with the possibility of Xebec having been a father figure to him and their relationship being a darker mirror of Roger and Shanks' relationship.

According to Sengoku, all Rocks Pirates hated Xebec. So I don't think Kaido used to like him. I think Xebec just influenced him to be evil. Maybe Kaido tried to be a good person during the Rocks time, but Xebec smashed his convictions and his morals

I dont see any scenario in which they will have that possibility

Clearly the elders are set up to fight some of the strawhat

Elbaf look as well a transition arc with some lore

Who knows, maybe Akainu will go all out against BB,Shanks but I doubt the strawhat

Kizaru probably is done in term of fight..maybe a movie will use him again like against Zeff.

I don't quite understand the relevancy of Scopper. We have Rayleigh who is the vice captain/partner of Roger, knows the entire story and trained Luffy. What value will Scopper offer? Especially in the context of him waiting for them.

Because he feels somewhat relevent on grand scheme of things on how Oda named them.
