The people he got the order to directly kill was Bonney (and Kuma) is a stand-in for Robin (and Bonney being a little girl that Kizaru knew about, another parallel) he went for it 3 times, 2 times sanji interfered, one time Luffy. Clearly with a wavering heart but with killing intent. Kuzan let her get away.


You bring up a good point tho as in if and how much this gonna change Kizaru, especially in comparison to Kuzan

I can’t feel bad for Garp lol, he always acts on personal feelings. He’s also a strong af dude that can defend himself. Kizaru basically killed his defenseless, civillian best friend. This is more comparable to Kuzan and the Ohara incident.

Kuzan had no way of knowing Saul survives, he froze him to the bone, the flames from cannon fire just happened to burn/thaw him out, could have easily been broken into pieces.

Kizaru's goal was to kill Vega without damaging the equipment and the mother flame.
Luffy's goal was to save Vega and get him off the island safely.
Vega is dead, nerfed by contradictions due to the fact that he has to kill his best friend and not using his strongest techniques so as not to damage the mother flame, Kizaru completed the task, despite the fact that Luffy and Sanji stood against him ready to protect Vega, who had no restrictions like the admiral
