Kizaru killed the actual closest person he was there, also marine/wg associated, with Vegapunk. Kuzan did not with Saul (which is very bad writing but it is what it is)

The people he got the order to directly kill was Bonney (and Kuma) is a stand-in for Robin (and Bonney being a little girl that Kizaru knew about, another parallel) he went for it 3 times, 2 times sanji interfered, one time Luffy. Clearly with a wavering heart but with killing intent. Kuzan let her get away.


You bring up a good point tho as in if and how much this gonna change Kizaru, especially in comparison to Kuzan

Tbh, all 3 OG admiral has a similarity when it came with people close to them.

Kuzan challenged Sakazuki's authority and dueling him for the position of FA.
