Kaido’s philosophy with life and death felt like it had potential to give him more depth.
This was a badass scene and had potential to go somewhere:
His relationship with Yamato, his fucking daughter 😅… could have been more fleshed out.
Kaido turned out pretty much one-dimensional in the end, pretty disappointing. He could have arguably been the greatest villain in OP with his feats if he turned out more interesting than what we got.

I guess it was too scary
Plus given that Kaido wanted to die so badly...why didn't he pick a fight with an Admiral like Fujitora or something? Blud even has the "Wano style" and carries a blade like Oden.
