Imo this guy has to be Scopper Gaban


He looks the exact same as the guy who was drinking with Crocus, and I don't see how that person can be anyone other than Gaban. Some people say it's Yorki even though he should be dead, but it wouldn't make sense for Yorki to be capable of sailing to Elbaf all by himself. Some others say it was Shiki, but I don't see why Crocus would be having a friendly drink with Shiki of all people, and I doubt Oda has any intentions to bring a movie villain into the main story.

whoever he is, he is either the same person as the bottom panel, has a very similar hat or a very high popping colar like shanks (inbefore its Shonks 2)

Either he is completely blonde or grey now explaining the hair or he is eating a straw hair kasa hat

But most likely guess is Yorki with his connection to Crocus and Laboon

Yeah probably. Would track with Oda starting the story with Roger, having Rayleigh in the middle, then using Gaban at the end but genuinely I don’t see the point in pushing another Roger pirate into the tail end of the story.

Shiki doesn’t make much sense cause:
1. Why would crocus casually drink and chat with shiki
2. Why would Shanks leave an island knowing Shiki was on it

As for yorkie, it’s possible but idk yorkie reuniting with Laboon before Brook feels like it cheapens the whole reunion since Laboon thinks they’re all dead because of him.

Yorki doesn't make any sense tbh. How would he have survived? How can he reach Elbaf all by himself when he was pretty much a fodder? How does Yorki have CoO great enough to sense the SHs from an ocean away? Not to mention that he'd be over 90 years old by now

Well, we saw Denjiro get a full facial remake in a span of couple days, a different hair color does not bother me at all lol. He may also be Yorki though, the story was tied to every single SH except Brook until now, bringing Yorki back would tie Brook too. Who knows, maybe Yorki got healed by the previous user of Ope Ope no Mi, timeline would not contradict it.
Edit: We got (kind of) personalized character arcs for Chopper, Sanji, Zoro and Franky in Zou, WCI, Wano and Egghead respectively (Sanji/WCI was much more prevalent but you get the point). We are getting Usopp’s arc in a month or two, Robin/Saul reunion and Robin and Nami’s arcs probably with Vira and Lodestar. We need connections and a personalized arc for Brook too, Yorki+Hachinosu may cover it.
