Kidd bm already had 2 chances as the big bad and she doesn't deserve a third shot. She really doesn't have anyone to fight and she's been knocked out of the yonko. Kidd has the whole redemption angle and he has potential to grow in different ways. He actually has a reason to come back and he can impact the story. Bm would just try to attack luffy and get embarrassed again.

Oda has no balls to let anyone other than Luffy eat.

Kidd having to reconsider his approach, go back and spend time in the lab to figure out adCoC (after getting destroyed by it), and how to be more efficient with his awakening. But not a complete character switchup, he would be doing all of this to get back at Shanks...and somehow contribute to his downfall.

Being a temporary Nika ally wouldn't be bad if that was his ulterior motive. Now that would be goated.

Another thought just hit me, what if Kidd became an ally of the Blackbeard Pirates, while Law is an ally of the Strawhat Pirates? During the final war or w.e, Kidd is backing Teach with his own motives ofcourse (just like Kuzan and the rest of the Level 6 prisoners).

This would give Kidd some development, give BB more firepower, and not ruin Kidd's character further by making him a tsundere for Luffy.
