I watched it several times in the month it aired in 2009.

It still is my favourite episode until today. Everything is amazing, the soundtrack, the light, the colors, the bubbles.

I studied in the university at the time. This episode hooked me up and since that day I have been reading the manga weekly.

I really hope Toei gives it best. animating the Kuma flashback, it can become the best characater story arc in the anime too

I don’t know why but Luffy being geniunely sad/depressed really hits me. Whereas, not so much with others who had it 10x worse.
