What is morally wrong about the Vaporeon Copypasta?
"Forget morals, it’s just categorically wrong. Firstly, humans aren’t in the Field egg group. They would be in the Humanshape egg group. That, or if they’re able to impregnate all pokemon, they’d be in the Ditto egg group. So the most compatible pokemon would have to be in the Humanshape egg group, unless you’d rather use Ditto.

That being said, modern day pokemon aren’t a good idea for mating, especially if you’re worried about morals, because most of them can’t talk and might not have human level intelligence (though if they can’t talk, you’d almost never know), so you wouldn’t be able to determine consent. Psychic pokemon would be your best bet for intelligence and thus informed consent, and then you’d want to seek a pokemon that can speak words of men. Ditto, presumably having the IQ of the most intelligent pokemon in existence, since they can perfectly mimic even the most intelligent, might fit this, since humans in the pokemon universe are in fact pokemon, and thus Ditto could take human form and speak human language. Ditto would also be the most compatible with female humans, since Ditto, as a true polymorpher, is sexually fluid.

Many highly intelligent pokemon, some of which are known to speak like humans, are legendaries, incapable of reproduction, Mew not being able to reproduce unless she’s artificially impregnated with a clone (see Mewtwo).

Ultimately, if you want to bring back the old days when people married pokemon, Ditto or the Ralts evolution tree is a good starting point. In fact, between possessive yandere Gardevoir being canon as well as how pokemon used to be people, Gardevoir being prime waifu material (eww…) is implicit canon."
