If Saturn goes down, this arc goes from a frustrating arc to the best written arc by Oda, an arc that perfectly mirrors Sabaody:
- The Supernova (= star explosion) met in Sabaody, made chaos and they all escaped except Luffy who was eradicated
- The Gorsoei (5 elder stars) met in Egghead, tried to save Vegapunk's chaos and they all escaped except Saturn who "exploded like a star" (Supernova) and who was eradicated

This is pure genius from Oda if this really happens

That would be very cool.

And honestly dying thanks to the Mother Flame would be perfect on many accounts: Vegapunk would be vindicated in some ways; Saturn, the warrior God of science, would die for someting related to science; the Mother Flame would even get hype, and It seems to be a pretty important plot point.

And obv. Saturn dying in this arc made total sense. If not, the risk of having a BM 2.0. is extremely high.
